Amazing Acrobatics

Cirque Éloize: iD

Gone are the days of stuffy, dusty tents. Cirque Éloize redefines the acrobatics acts of a traditional circus as the acrobats bring dramatic performances to the stage, combined with energetic urban dancing and death-defying stunts.

We had the amazing opportunity to watch this extraordinary showcase of athleticism and strength. It left us giving new meaning ‘spectacular’, ‘magical’, ‘breath-taking’ and ‘heart-stopping’.

Cirque Éloize makes acrobatics relevant for today by adding elements of street culture combined with everything that makes for great theatre - well chosen music, funky costumes, incredible lighting, a cleverly used set and choreography like none we’ve ever seen before - clever, flawless and seemingly effortless. The performers fuse their unbridled talents with non-stop action to make Cirque Éloize: iD a seriously not-to-missed
show of a lifetime!

We cannot emphasise enough how incredible this show is. We can’t stop talking about it either. We look forward to seeing Cirque Éloize in South Africa in future.

Supernova turns 3!

Supernova, vol. 3.6
As we approach the end of the third volume of Supernova, we reflect on past issues and we're excited about where we're headed. We've always aimed to educate children through entertaining and thought-provoking articles on a wide variety of subjects. When we reflect on the feedback we've received from our readers, we're proud to say we have done just that and we certainly don't plan to stop!

We've nick-named Supernova vol. 3.6 'the issue of small things' because, by pure coincidence, we happen to feature some of the world's 'dynamite in small packages'. We introduce our curious readers to some of the smallest creatures of their favourite subject – dinosaurs! We also have a look at the atom and give tribute to women who have changed the world with their inventions. Yes, don't forget that August is International Women's Month!

So, before we dive head-long into creating volume 4 with its exciting new content, we'll leave you with this thought-provoking statement by Vincent van Gogh: “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” We think our 'issue of small things' is great!
