The
Sci-Bono Discovery Centre warmly invites your school to participate
in our Enquiring Minds Programme, taking place at the centre from 20
January 2014 to 28 February 2014.
The programme is suitable for grade 1 to 3 learners.
Learners
will participate in various enjoyable activities themed around: My
first Chemistry class, Space and the Solar System, Water, Insect
Life Cycles and Recycling. The duration of the programme will be from
9:30 to 12:00. The
programme links directly to the study area 'Beginning Knowledge, and
Personal and Social Well-being' of the Life Skills curriculum
for foundation phase.
Your visit will include:
•1 x Workshop (Chemistry OR Space OR Water OR Insect Life Cycles OR Recycling)
•1 x Science Show OR Planetarium Show
•1 x Centre Exhibition Tour

Grade 1 - 3 learners
NB:
Learners need to bring their own packed lunch. Transport will NOT be
provided and a minimal cost of R10 per learner for public schools and
R15 per learner for private schools applies.
