GANGS
OF BALLET has been nominated as a 'wildcard' for the MTV EMA’s
Best African Act category. The band is the the only rock band
in the category and is extremely excited about this opportunity.
The 2014 MTV EMA takes place in Glasgow on 9 November 2014.
For this year’s local awards, they have introduced a pre-nomination phase where viewers will be able to choose one of the nominees in their local region.

Artists can mobilise their fans from 9 September until 14 September to vote via Twitter, using personalised
artist hashtags. The winning artist will join the other confirmed
nominees for Best African Act, and have the chance to progress to the
final stage, representing their region as a nominee for the
prestigious Worldwide Act award.
Fans
can vote for GANGS OF BALLET in this category on Twitter by
tweeting using the hashtags #MTV #NominateGangsOfBallet.
